We're seeking an experienced office administrator who can manage a fast-paced office, oversee fleet operations, and ensure all paperwork and compliance are handled accurately.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day office operations in a busy environment.
* Record and file delivery dockets daily, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and up to date.
* Track drivers' work, schedules, and compliance with transport regulations.
* Oversee fleet management: vehicle service history, insurance, tax, NCT/DOE, and repair scheduling.
* Use office and fleet management software to monitor vehicles, maintenance, and downtime.
* Liaise with garages, suppliers, and drivers to ensure timely servicing and repairs.
* Support invoicing, accounts, and payroll administration as required.
* Act as the key communication link between drivers, site staff, and management.
Essential Skills & Experience
Previous administration experience in haulage, logistics, or construction.
Proven ability to manage fleet records and driver compliance.
Strong knowledge of transport compliance (driver hours, tachographs).
Confident in Microsoft Office and fleet/transport management software.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
