We are seeking an exceptional Executive Chef of Banqueting Services to join our culinary team. As a renowned leisure destination, we offer a unique and captivating environment for career growth and development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the banqueting culinary team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional dining experiences to our guests. This role involves overseeing the banqueting kitchen, including the preparation and presentation of menus, as well as liaising with the Executive Chef on operational issues and day-to-day operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar banqueting role is essential.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to work effectively as a team.
* A genuine passion for food and cooking.
* Qualification in culinary arts or a similar field is desirable.
* Extensive knowledge of good food handling, food standards, and presentation.
* Competence in all aspects of kitchen budgeting, including costing and menu planning, labour costing, and waste management.
* Experience in HACCP maintenance.
