A dynamic and expanding organisation operating across Ireland and the UK is seeking to appoint a Group Head of HR to join its Senior Leadership Team.
This is a high-impact role, reporting directly to the Joint Managing Directors, and is responsible for leading and delivering the people agenda across a complex, multi-site organisation.
With significant operational presence across manufacturing, engineering, and green energy sectors, the business employs over 900 people and continues to invest in innovation, sustainability, and talent.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and implement HR strategy while managing a strong in-house HR team comprising two HR Managers, a HR Business Partner, HR Assistant, and two HR Officers.
Key Responsibilities: Design, deliver and drive the HR strategy aligned with business goals across multiple Irish and UK sites.
Lead on employee and industrial relations, including union engagement, change programmes, and policy implementation.
Develop and embed frameworks in talent acquisition, performance management, workforce planning, and succession.
Act as a strategic HR partner to the executive team, supporting high-performance culture and organisational growth.
Coach, support and develop the internal HR team to deliver consistent, compliant, and value-driven support.
Regular travel is required across Ireland and the UK to engage with site leadership and teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile: Proven HR leader with a minimum of 10 years' senior HR management experience across multi-site environments.
Demonstrated expertise in employee/industrial relations, ideally within unionised settings.
Strong track record in shaping and implementing HR strategy, with the ability to both design and deliver.
Resilient, commercially aware, and able to influence and build trust at all levels of the business.
Degree-qualified with relevant HR credentials and experience working with HRIS and modern HR tools.
This is a hands-on, strategic role suited to a decisive, relationship-led leader who can own the people agenda while remaining operationally grounded.
