HVAC Aftercare Manager Cork We are recruiting for a leading Building Services and HVAC contractor in Cork seeking an experienced Aftercare Manager.Be one of the first applicants, read the complete overview of the role below, then send your application for consideration.This is a senior-level position responsible for leading the service, maintenance, and small works division.You will ensure that high-value mechanical systems installed for pharmaceutical, commercial, and industrial clients are maintained to the highest standards.The role focuses on transition management from project handover to long-term maintenance, ensuring client satisfaction and the profitability of the service department.Core Responsibilities Service Delivery Management: Oversee the delivery of preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive service calls for HVAC systems, including AHUs, VRF, chillers, and boilers.Team Leadership: Manage a team of field service technicians, including scheduling, performance reviews, and technical mentorship.Contract Management: Lead the negotiation and renewal of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintenance contracts with key clients across the Munster region.Project Handover: Coordinate with the project installation teams to ensure a seamless transition of new builds into the aftercare and maintenance phase.Commercial Oversight: Manage the P&L for the aftercare department, including budgeting, forecasting, and the procurement of spare parts/sub-contractor services.Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for client escalations, providing technical solutions and ensuring long-term retention.Candidate Profile Experience: Minimum of 58 years in the HVAC industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role within a service/aftercare environment.Technical Background: Trade qualification (Refrigeration/Electrical) or a Degree in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering.Knowledge: Deep understanding of HVAC systems, BMS interfaces, and statutory compliance (e.g., F-Gas regulations).Skills: Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract negotiation and service-level reporting.Attributes: A customer-centric leader with excellent problem-solving skills and a full, clean driving licence.Compensation Salary Range: €65,000 €80,000 per annum (Negotiable based on experience and portfolio).Benefits: Company vehicle/allowance, performance-related bonus, contributory pension, and health insurance.Location: Cork (Office-based with site travel).
