Objective:We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated financie assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support daily financial operations, including basic payroll processing, debtor management, and creditor reconciliation. This role is perfect for someone who is organised, reliable, and eager to grow within the finance function.The company is focused on education and developing educational skills in the area of dyslexia.Scope of Work:Assist with basic payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely preparation.Maintain and update employee payroll records.Process debtors: issue invoices, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain accurate customer accounts.Process creditors: verify supplier invoices, prepare payment schedules, and reconcile statements.Assist with bank reconciliations and general finance admin.Support month-end tasks where required.Maintain a high level of confidentiality and comply with company policies.Requirements:Previous experience in a finance or accounting support role (preferred but not essential).Basic understanding of payroll, debtors, and creditors processes.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Understanding ROS returns.Good organisational and time-management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books and Stripe).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proposal Acceptance:This job proposal is open for discussion regarding responsibilities, work hours (10hrs p/mth), and remuneration.
