My client, a thriving SME based in North Dublin, is seeking a Bookkeeper/Accounting Technician for a 12-month maternity contract.
Working as part of a small, collaborative team, you will be responsible for providing bookkeeping and accounts administration support across three separate business entities.
The position involves working closely with another accounting team member and a fantastic wider team, in a modern office space that places a strong emphasis on wellbeing and productivity.
Duties will include: Accurate data entry of purchases and sales Reconciliation of bank accounts, debtors, and creditors Monthly invoicing Tracking and reporting of expenditure Management of team expenses Preparation of full accounts to trial balance stage Assisting the accountant with month-end and year-end reporting Preparation of financial information for management review Submission of VAT Returns, PAYE and RCT Ad hoc administrative tasks as required Requirements: Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to take initiative and manage a busy office environment Ability to meet reporting deadlines with accuracy and efficiency Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar role Experience with IT systems, Microsoft Office, and Xero (preferable but not essential as training will be provided) Whats in it for you?
