Currently recruiting for a Quality Specialist to cover a maternity leave contract up to March 26 covering 2 sites near Dublin Airport (4 days a week) & Lurgan, Co Armagh (1 day a week) YOUR NEW QUALITY SPECIALIST JOB: Day to day some of your key duties in this exciting and varied Quality Specialist job will include: Ensure that the site meets all standards and policies, including legislation and customer requirements, concerning quality and food safety.
It is essential to maintain a constant audit-ready state.
Responsible for managing the company's Quality Management System, including HACCP, TACCP and VACCP Providing technical support to other departments through education, advice, and problem-solving.
Maintain existing standard and cultivate a positive food safety culture within the organization and act as the primary technical contact for all customers, suppliers, and third-party relationships, including certifications and accreditations.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: You will hold a relevant degree in Food Sciences or equivalent, with a proven track record as a technical specialist in managing BRC Audits & food safety certification You will have the ability to confidently deliver presentations to large groups of people and this a highly responsible individual contributor role so you'll need to have strong leadership skills and the ability to build relationships with others.
