The successful candidate will act as a bridge between regulatory interpretation, data sourcing, and technical implementation, working closely with Regulatory Reporting, Finance, Risk, IT, and external stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and interpret regulatory requirements (e.g., Basel III/IV, COREP, FINREP, LCR, NSFR, Leverage Ratio, Large Exposures) and translate them into clear business and functional requirementsLead or support the implementation and enhancement of regulatory reporting solutions using Axiom SLProduce detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, data mapping documents, and regulatory rule interpretationsPartner with data, technology, and Axiom developers to design, configure, and validate Axiom SL rules, mappings, and calculationsPerform impact assessments for new or changing regulations and assess implications on existing Axiom SL frameworks and data modelsSupport UAT, parallel runs, reconciliations, and defect resolution for regulatory submissionsEnsure data lineage, traceability, and documentation meet internal governance and regulatory expectationsLiaise with Regulatory Reporting, Risk, Finance, and Compliance teams to resolve interpretation or data issuesSupport regulatory audits, internal reviews, and supervisory inquiriesMentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices and process improvementsRequirements7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within Regulatory Reporting in financial servicesHands-on experience with Axiom SL, including rule configuration, data mapping, and reporting frameworksStrong understanding of regulatory reporting concepts and frameworks (e.g., Basel, COREP/FINREP, PRA/EBA/ECB reporting)Proven experience translating regulatory text into implementable business and functional requirementsStrong data analysis skills; experience working with large, complex datasetsSolid understanding of end-to-end regulatory reporting processes and controlsExperience working in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environmentsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsNice to haveExperience with multiple regulatory regimesSQL or data querying experienceBackground in Risk, Finance, or Capital ManagementExperience supporting regulatory change initiatives or remediation programsWe offerPrivate Healthcare PackagePensionEmployee Assistance ProgrammeEnhanced Maternity policyGroup Life Protection BenefitGive as You EarnCycle to Work SchemeEmployee Referral Bonus SchemeDiversity NetworksAccess to a range of skills and certifications
