Role OverviewGenesis are seeking to hire a Component Support for Genesis's aircraft component trading subsidiary, ReGEN Aviation Limited.ReGEN Aviation Limited is one of the world's fastest growing aviation component trading platforms, headquartered in Dublin, Ireland servicing the global demand for spare parts from airlines and MRO's.This is a unique opportunity for the ideal candidate, within a start-up environment, with well-established organisational systems in place to be part of an exciting venture.Having recently opened a 75,000 square foot warehouse, we are located in a prime area beside Dublin Airport, in the Horizon Business Park.With the continued expansion of the warehouse, there is plenty of exciting opportunities for the preferred candidate to excel within their career. They will have the opportunity to support the buildout and operation of the warehouse within aircraft parts trading business in a well-positioned aircraft leasing company, with strong long-term shareholders.The Component Support will be responsible for the warehouse functions required to contribute towards the streamlining of inventory control and part sales.Role and ResponsibilitiesInventory ManagementSupport the daily inventory control and logistic activities:o Goods receipto Component inspectiono Storage allocation and optimisationo Pick and pack orderso Sales order dispatchEnsure that inventory interactions are recorded in the warehouse management system using handheld scanners, barcoding and IT equipment.Supports the VP of Operations to ensure seamless business execution, customer support and uphold company values.Reviews and ensures that component paperwork and shipping records and correct.Compliance and ControlPerform regular audits and training in line with the company quality manual.Maintain high standards of safety and security by following operational policies and procedures.Update inventory records through the warehouse management system.Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet trucks.Keep the warehouse clean, organised and free of hazards.Skills and ExperienceExperience in a warehouse and/or Logistics sector.Manual handling and forklift experience preferred.Excellent oral and written communication skillsStrong planning and organizational abilities, with a keen focus on quality, attention to detail, and a proactive approachProficient in Microsoft Applications (Office, Outlook, Excel)Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a physically demanding environment.Willingness to work flexible hoursPlease note that this role will require the successful candidate to lift and move boxes. Manual handling training will be provided.
