Role Overview
ProVerum is an early-stage company developing an innovative medical device technology to treat Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). BPH is an enlargement of the prostate gland causing significant discomfort and affects more than 50 percent of men over 50 years of age. The standard of care involves invasive, difficult surgical procedures and medications, which are widely viewed as ineffective. Many patients are left waiting for symptoms to deteriorate before intervention can be justified.
We are seeking an experienced and pragmatic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our growing business needs.
The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a small, fast-growing, regulated environment, balancing day-to-day operational HR delivery with the ability to shape and improve people practices as the business scales.
The role will provide end-to-end HR support across the full employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and line managers, providing clear, pragmatic HR guidance and recommendations.
* Lead end-to-end recruitment across the business. Drive continuous improvement in recruitment processes and candidate experience.
* Own and continuously improve the onboarding process to ensure compliance, engagement, and setting employees up for success.
* Develop, review and implement HR policies and procedures, taking ownership of content and practical application. Ensure HR practices align with employment legislation and regulatory requirements.
* Manage HRIS roll-out across the company. Support HR data reporting and insights to inform business decisions.
* Drive employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive, inclusive culture.
Skills & Experience
Essential
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a broad HR generalist or HRBP role.
* Demonstrated ability to make independent HR decisions and manage risk appropriately.
* Demonstrated ability to operate in a small or growing organisation, with a hands-on, adaptable approach.
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
Desirable
* Experience within a regulated environment such as medical devices, life sciences, manufacturing, or healthcare.
* Exposure to organisational growth, change management, or scaling HR processes.
* CIPD qualification or equivalent (part-qualified or qualified).
