Job Description
The Assistant Manager will provide supervision of the day‑to‑day operation of the Charity ensuring CLASP continues to deliver a high‑quality service to customers and complies with all applicable regulations and the conditions of our funding agencies. Reports to CLASP Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure that an ethos of Safety pervades throughout all Operations.
* Manages staff, controls finances, implements governance requirements and completes all reporting requirements.
* Executes financial administration including payroll and maintenance of all company accounts. Ensures CLASP funders requirements are fully met.
* Implements, maintains and strengthens all CLASP policies including Financial, Regulatory and HR.
* Demonstrates innovation by growing the Charity's services provided to the Community.
Person Specification
* Minimum 3 years Leadership/management experience.
* Experience of office financial /administration supervision.
* Strong communication skills with a knowledge of community development practices.
* Good IT skills and ability to interact with digital systems, knowledge of Excel is essential and of Public Procurement including E/Tenders advantageous.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Terms
2‑year contract subject to funding (6‑month probation).
Salary: Commensurate with Experience.
