Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective pharmaceutical care to patients and contributing to the development of clinical pharmacy services. ----------------------------------- Key Responsibilities: * Provide safe and efficient pharmaceutical care to all patients under the hospital's care; Clinical Practice The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of best practice in clinical pharmacy, including relevant competency frameworks. They will take a lead role in managing medicine shortages within UPMC Hospital. They must also support and participate in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) required for procurement, storage, handling, and dispensing of medication. In this role, you’ll contribute to the provision of medicines information and advice on drug availability and procurement to clinical staff. You’ll support the development of medicines information resources for clinical colleagues &patients e.g., patient information leaflets, mонographs,policies, procedures, protocols & guidelines.
