Finance Manager | Part-time | Dublin 2
Our client is a leading Property Investment and Trading Group, with an established track record of asset management, acquisitions, and trading of a complex value-added estate across Ireland and the UK.
Due to the retirement of a key staff member, they have a requirement for a Finance Manager/ Company Accountant. The role reports directly to the Operations Director and Board.
Location – The role will be based on-site in their Dublin 2 office.
Terms – The position is permanent and part -time, ideally 3 days per week.
Start – Ideally August/ September
Purpose of the role –
The role will have oversight of all financial aspects of the Group and responsibility for the flow of financial information to the Operations Director and the Board and, where necessary, external parties such as external accountants and financial institutions.
Responsibilities will include –
1. Overall control of the Group's accounting function
2. Control of all financial transactions and accountancy matters, including audit systems
3. Preparation of management accounts on a regular basis and producing relevant financial information for board meetings
4. Preparation of annual accounts and preparing year end audit files. Liaising with the auditors during the annual audit process
5. The conduct of routine activities of a property business including invoicing, accounts receivable/payable, VAT, payroll, bank reconciliations and payments
About you –
The successful candidate might fit the following profile –
6. Qualified ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA
7. Circa 10 years' pqe
8. Knowledge of the property/ investments sector an advantage.
9. Have worked in a small to mid-sized company with a thorough understanding of the workings of a finance function and a proven track record managing same.
10. Strong Excel, QuickBooks and Xero skills with strong computer and analytical skills and proficiency in using Microsoft
