Job Opportunity: Construction & Development Projects Manager
The Hodson Bay Group is seeking an experienced Construction & Development Projects Manager to oversee the current Yew Point Eco Tourism Development and future projects.
This role offers a great opportunity for someone looking to advance their Project Management career within a vibrant, fast-paced, and friendly environment.
The hotel group, comprising four 4-star properties, is developing an eco-tourism and experiential project on a 150-acre site at Hodson Bay. Additionally, there are multiple ongoing upgrade and refurbishment projects.
This is a senior appointment, with the successful candidate reporting directly to group directors.
Candidate Background and Experience
* Qualified as a carpenter, with experience progressing from site foreman to project delivery responsibility.
Desired Skills and Abilities
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other programming tools.
* Ability to read and interpret architects' and engineers' drawings and specifications.
* Experience in communicating, motivating, and managing design team members and site employees.
* Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure all works are carried out to high quality standards and in accordance with drawings and specifications.
* Participate in design team meetings.
* Manage construction quality.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation.
* Oversee all aspects of project and construction management.
