Orange Recruitment is seeking a motivated and detail-driven Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their clients growing team in is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments, supporting project delivery from pre-construction through to final account. Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, valuations, and cost plans Support the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers, including tender analysis and contract negotiation Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts and cost reports Assist with the administration of contracts and management of variations Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify subcontractor claims Work closely with senior QSs, project managers, and site teams to ensure accurate financial reporting Maintain clear and organised documentation for all project stages Participate in value engineering, risk management, and project reviews Requirements: Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field 2-5 years' experience in a QS role, ideally with a main contractor or developer Strong knowledge of Irish construction contracts and building regulations Proficiency in QS software (e.g. Cubit, Buildsoft, Excel, CostX) Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Skills: Construction Pricing Engineering
