Qualifications and Competences
* Civil engineering, architecture, or similar construction-related degree; Master’s or Passive House design experience is desirable.
* 5 years of construction industry experience
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Strong network with architects, contractors, and trade associations like RIAI, PHAI, MMC Ireland
* Project-oriented with understanding of building envelope design and customer specifications
* Willing to travel within the area (some overnight stays)
About the Job
As a Technical Specification Advisor, you will engage with architects, designers, and influencers in construction, especially through main contractors and consultants. Building a network with relevant institutions and trade associations is crucial. You will advise airtightness installers, facade and curtain wall contractors, and insulation contractors. Your main goal is to identify new projects and connect with stakeholders to secure business, enabling early product specification and ensuring SIGA’s recognition as a leading brand in airtight and windtight products. You will provide technical advice, product training, and support throughout construction stages, fostering relationships and increasing sales in Dublin and North Leinster to promote sustainability.
