Job DescriptionTreacys West County Health and Leisure Club Ennis are currently seeking to employ a suitably qualified lifeguard and gym instructor.A successful candidate will:Provide all members and hotel guests with a friendly, safe and positive experience.Maintain a high standard of customer service.Carry out leisure attendant duties on site including lifeguarding, reception, gym & cleaningBe flexible regarding time table and company demands (variable hours and weekend availability is required).Main Responsibilities· Follow company operation procedures, such as NOPs, EAPs and recognised national pool lifeguard guidelines.· Report to appropriate departmental management as required.· Ensure the health and safety of customers at all times.· Maintain high standards of supervision while performing lifeguard and gym duties as required by the Leisure Centre Manager.· Uphold high standards of pool cleanliness and hygiene.· Promote the facility effectively, liaise with members and contribute positively to providing a high level of customer service.· Additional duties may be required from time to time.Qualifications and ExperienceMandatory:· Swimming Pool Lifeguards – RLSS/IWS or equivalent· Gym Qualification – Reps RecognisedDesirable:· First Aid Certificate· Child Protection certificate· Full or assistant Swim Teachers Qualification· Pool Plant QualificationPersonal Attributes· Good communication skills, fluent English.· Should be able to work as part of a team and also on own initiative· Enthusiastic, hardworking and self-driven· Punctual and reliable· Should demonstrate a keen interest in sport and the leisure industryJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: €23,625.00-€36,713.07 per yearExpected hours: 25 – 35 per weekBenefits:Employee discountGym membershipOn-site gymOn-site parkingSick payAbility to commute/relocate:Ennis, CO.
