Job Opportunity: Advanced Cardiovascular Modeler
We seek a highly skilled postdoctoral researcher to join our team in the development, evaluation and integration of in-silico and in-vitro models of failing Fontan circulation and pediatric heart failure.
* The successful candidate will lead the development of lumped-parameter/Windkessel cardiovascular models, simulating pressures, volumes and flows. They will work closely with MD students and clinical teams to specify modelling needs, use patient-specific imaging data to refine model parameters/boundary conditions.
* They will analyze simulation/experimental data, compare outputs generating metrics guiding MCSD design e.g flow pressure shear power.
* This role requires taking lead on patent landscaping contributing filing new patent applications that align with research goals.
