Quality Management Specialist – Senior Manager (Renewable Energy Industry - Wind, Solar, Battery & Other Renewable Energy
projects) job opportunity in
Dublin, Ireland
and Remote. Desirable requirement 5 days in the office per month, however at the start of the engagement, more frequent attendance.

, assisting with the
transmission
of
electricity
from
generation plants
via the
power grid
to regional or local
electricity distribution operators
. Also helping them making the
grid
ready to
carry 80%
of
Ireland's electricity
from
renewable
sources by
2030
, as set out in the
Government's Climate Action Plan. Electricity,
will playing a critical purpose to transform the
Power System
to enable our society to reduce our
Carbon Emissions
and meet our
Climate Change
and Net Zero Ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Development
of an
Integrated Management System
, covering
Quality, Health & Safety, Asset Management & Environmental Management.
* The
Electricity Management System
must be compliant with
ISO standards 9001, 45001, 55000 & 14001
as the intention is to become certified in all four listed
ISO standards
. It is expected that an electric system can cover the needs of all four listed standards.
* This system has been mapped, but must be developed further with supporting documentation, policies, processes and procedures.
* Ensure continuous quality reporting and updates on projects status to management.
* Ensure internal
Communication, Co-Operation
, and
Co-Ordination
between the different staff members of the Project and with other parties with interface to the project.
* Ensure efficient and regular project
Quality
meetings and recording keeping including minutes and agreed actions. This includes general internal project reporting, project management documentation compilation and maintenance.
* Supporting the
Tendering Processes
for
Small Works Packages
together with Procurement
* Using internal tools for
Project Tracking, Safety, Contract Management, Risk Management
etc.
* Ensure that conditions adversely affecting
Quality
performance are identified and mitigated
* Authorize and empower to initiating remedial action to prevent the occurrence or recurrence of non-compliance with customers, statutory, regulatory, or stated Quality requirements
* Appoint Lead Auditor
to lead the
Quality Assurance (QA) team
and plan
Audit schedule
and submit audit results

Knowledge and Skills

* Strong track record of
Document Development, Document Control
and follows best practice with regard to
Document Management.
* Excellent technical writing skills.
* Clear affinity with
Energy Projects
and ideally relevant working experience in the
Renewable Energy Industry
in particular the construction processes and environmental assessments of
Wind, Solar, Battery & Other Renewable Energy
projects.
* Strong technical understanding of
Energy Technology
with experience of contracts and technical appendices for main technology supply contracts.
* Strong communication
, relationship building and good management skills including organisational ability and a target oriented; demonstrated ability to prioritize.
* Excellent application of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project (or equivalent) Sharepoint and other applications.
* Concisely frame issues by providing context, analysis, recommendations, and risk/benefit, both in written and verbal format to project teams.
* Independent self-starter with a clear ability to manage a large workload, often providing support to processes managed by colleagues, while prioritizing tasks and effectively juggling competing deadlines
* Knowledge of
ISO
and
API
requirements (including but not limited to)
* ISO 9001
* ISO 14001
* ISO 45001
* ISO 41001
* ISO 55001
* Excellent communication skills in English

Qualifications

* Minimum
10 years
work experience in a similar field of implementing integrated management systems.
* Relevant technical or management degree or equivalent
* Professionally qualified and membership of relevant professional institution / body (preferred)
* ISO training
, including but not limited to
ISO 9001: 2015 QMS Auditor

Experience

* Experience in development and
delivery of projects
in complex environments
* Experience conceiving and introducing innovative ideas, solutions, or new ways of doing things - managing business and organisation change
* Experience in
Power Generation
and
Transmission Infrastructure
(preferred)
* Experience of working within a similar
Regulated
Utility environment
(preferred)
