About the Role
* This finance role offers a unique blend of Irish and US accounting standards, with opportunities to take processes from start to finish and work closely with high-level management who make decisions quickly.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver timely and accurate management information, critically review it before presentation to senior management, and ensure completion of monthly and annual reporting deadlines.
2. Prepare statutory financial statements and handle auditor queries for all companies within the group, with experience in FRS102 and US GAAP.
3. Manage tax compliance, including VAT, PAYE, Intrastat returns, corporation tax payments, and returns. Knowledge of UK, US, and Singapore tax frameworks is an advantage.
4. Oversight and direction of standard finance processes such as procurement, invoicing, supplier payments, billing, and payroll, identifying efficiencies and implementing changes to meet business requirements.
5. Be responsible for sales projections and revenue forecasting, working with company systems to enhance reporting and insights.
6. Communicate and collaborate with a wide range of team members across departments and levels.
7. Actively participate in senior management meetings, providing accurate financial information to inform sound decision-making.
8. Deliver and prepare the annual budget and financial forecasts.
9. Contribute to operational projects as required.
You'll need to have:
* A qualified accounting membership (ACA/FCA, ACCA, or equivalent foreign qualification).
* At least 5 years' experience in industry-based accounting roles, preferably in the software industry.
* Proven abilities in delivering management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
* Strong business acumen with the ability to make sound, commercially aware decisions.
* Good work ethic with the ability to deliver under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Ability to work independently and use initiative when required.
* An exacting approach backed by consistent attention to detail.
* Fluency in written and spoken English, with strong communication and presentation skills.
* Experience with accounting software, with SAP and AO SAP reporting being an advantage.
* Excellent IT skills, with proficiency in standard financial applications (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
