About the Role:
My client are seeking an experienced
Procurement Manager
to join our dynamic team in Dublin, supporting major
data centre and industrial facility builds
across Ireland and Europe. This is a critical role within our organisation, responsible for overseeing strategic procurement activities, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
You will play a key role in project delivery, working closely with project managers, design teams, commercial leads, and external stakeholders to ensure our supply chain supports high-quality, on-time, and on-budget construction outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end procurement processes for data centre and industrial construction projects.
* Develop and execute project-specific procurement strategies in alignment with project timelines and budgets.
* Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
* Monitor market trends and conduct cost analysis to ensure competitive sourcing.
* Prepare and manage tender packages, supplier agreements, and contracts.
* Collaborate with project and commercial teams to forecast procurement needs.
* Maintain compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
* Drive supplier performance management and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum
5 years' experience
in procurement within the
construction industry
, ideally with exposure to
data centre or industrial projects
.
* Proven ability to manage high-value procurement packages and complex supply chains.
* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management abilities.
* Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems.
* Knowledge of EU procurement regulations and construction contracts (e.g. FIDIC, NEC) is an advantage.
