We are currently looking to recruit a Technical (Construction) Sales Person for our client based in Ballycoolin, Dublin 15. The package for this role is 50K+ and many benefits such as a bonus, company vehicle and career progression.

Duties and Responsibilities will include;
* Specifying, promoting, presenting, and selling a portfolio of products/services to existing and prospective customers to agreed targets.
* Establishing, developing, and maintaining positive business and customer relationships.
* Calling on Contractors & following through to close quotations and sales opportunities.
* Calling on Architects in conjunction to seek opportunities to specify company products.
* Participate in weekly and monthly sales & planning meetings and track progress on sales opportunities
* Minimum 3 years of successful sales & site experience within the Construction Industry
* Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
* An understanding of the full life cycle of Construction Sector projects.
* Highly motivated and target driven.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines
* A proven capacity to learn new industry products.
* Ability to work to agreed business plans
* Strong PC Skills, including excellent knowledge of MS Office.
Daily duties will involve;
* Assessing customer requirements, through pro‑active interaction and based on experience and product knowledge, and the reviewing of relevant technical information including technical drawings to determine the appropriate specification of materials & systems.
* Responding professionally and in appropriate detail to requests for quotations, including tender documents.
* Following up on enquiries received from Internal Sales and preparing proposals for customers to meet these enquiries.
* Logging enquiries on the sales system, CRM in our case.
* Proactively following up on enquiries with customers, and in doing so, keeping the sales enquiry database up to date.
* Visiting customers occasionally and as required, initially for training purposes and also for project meetings and general sales calls.
