Helpdesk Support Engineer – L1: Rapid Exposure to L2
This Helpdesk Support Engineer position is with an Irish-owned alternative investment manager based in Dublin. The company is one of the largest investment firms, celebrating 25 years of excellence, and providing employment stability. This organisation provides the opportunity to play a central role in contributing to ongoing improvements in infrastructure while working closely with all departments, utilising industry-leading tools, and exploring emerging technologies to deliver secure, effective, and user-friendly IT services.
This position is ideally suited to a proactive and technically adept individual with a strong customer focus and sense of urgency, looking to collaborate with different teams. They reinforce an interest in cloud technologies, allowing progression towards AWS and/or Microsoft certification. There are countless opportunities to fast-track your career in this environment. They operate a hybrid work model, with staff in the office Monday to Thursday and flexibility for personal circumstances.
Responsibilities
* Support approximately 95 staff members across a dynamic and evolving technology environment.
* Hands-on exposure to systems monitoring, cybersecurity practices, and cloud services.
* Key role in day-to-day IT operations, providing support, and addressing technical challenges.
* Contribute to solving problems, enhancing IT processes utilisation of best-in-class tools.
Skills / Experience
* Minimum third-level diploma or degree in an IT-related discipline.
* 1-2 years of experience in an IT Helpdesk or similar technical support environment.
* Knowledge of Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and network monitoring tools.
Salary / Remuneration
€35,000 - €40,000 + bonus, pension, health insurance, and lunch.
