Project Development Manager – IrelandOur client is at the forefront of wind energy development in the EU with big ambitions to be a leading developer/generator in UK and Ireland. As renewable energy specialists, they are fully experienced in the identification, design, development, construction and operation of onshore wind energy projects across Europe.For their subsidiary based in Ireland, we are recruiting a Project Development Manager. The role will involve working with both project development and construction teams to ensure a final RTB status of their projects and complete the hand-over from one phase to another in pre-construction activities across Ireland.ResponsibilitiesOverseeing the full project development process, from site acquisition through to RTB status.Producing feasibility assessments and site appraisals.Using GIS and CAD to produce maps, plans, scale drawings and to complete constraint in close collaboration with planning consultants and authorities.Undertaking onsite field work and site investigations while preparing various environmental and engineering reports.Managing the tender process for engineering and any other required consultants for construction activities.Preparing and delivering presentations to stakeholders.Supporting the team as required with Public Inquiries.General office duties to support the business and Directors as required related with all pre-construction process.RequirementsMinimum of 3 years of experience in the utility scale renewable energy industry, preferably with direct project development experience.Understanding of WTG technology and construction requirements.Well-developed problem-solving skills and hands on approach to design management.
