Ayrton Group are seeking SLG's & Traffic Management Operatives to join our dynamic Traffic Management Team. We have multiple locations across Cork City on long term construction projects. Ability to get to site is essential - own transport an advantage.
Duties:
* Liaise with contractors, site foremen, and additional subcontractors on site to ensure the safe flow of traffic and the safety of pedestrians on site.
* Set up and maintain work zones according to TMP's.
* Assist with the loading & unloading of vehicles with equipment, traffic signs and cones on-site.
* Carry out Stop/Go systems, road closures and diversions, set up & operation of traffic light systems and pedestrian management.
* Operate two-way radios with a team of Traffic Management Operatives.
* Communicate effectively with members of the public and contractors alike.
* Ensure the safety of yourself, the workforce, public and any other person affected by your duties.
* Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
* SLG Card required.
* Safe Pass Card required.
* Manual Handling Certificate required.
* Full driving licence.
* Excellent communication and time keeping skills.
* Reliable and flexible with the ability to use own initiative.
* Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time).
* Commitment to health and safety.
