Senior Site Merchandising Manager Permanent Position Location: Dublin City Centre (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote) Reports To: VP eCommerce CPL Marketing are working with a well-established global eCommerce luxury retailers based in Dublin City Centre, are seeking a Senior Site Merchandising Manager who will report into the VP of eCommerce. This person will be a cross functional leader who develops and implements comprehensive eCommerce strategies for the organisations international markets. You will be a key contributor to the eCommerce roadmap and proactively identify and capitalise on new growth opportunities. This position works closely with globally distributed eCommerce Operations, UI/UX, Marketing, and Creative teams to establish and launch inspirational, educational, and conversion-driven website strategies and content that optimise the shopper experience. This role is expected to work in a hybrid model, which includes three days in-office. This role will require occasional travel to the US. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a cross-functional leader driving ecommerce best practices to create a best-in-class shopper experience across the site. Utilize data and analytics to analyse customer purchase behaviours and identify friction points, leveraging insights to customise site content and optimise the shopper journey. Develop a deep understanding of cultural shopping nuances and integrate these insights into localised site strategies. Evaluate the site experience from the customers perspective, embedding intentional strategies throughout the digital journey. Present findings and strategic recommendations to the Executive Team and cross-functional stakeholders, weaving diverse data points into a compelling narrative. Develop and maintain a seasonal site calendar, planning content and campaigns to meet or exceed ecommerce KPIs. Identify business challenges and craft creative, actionable solutions, taking ownership to drive their successful implementation. Collaborate closely with Localisation teams to ensure ecommerce regulations and requirements are met, keeping international sites relevant and compliant. Lead and mentor a small team focused on executing site merchandising strategies that deliver a seamless and engaging customer experience. Demonstrate urgency and strong drive to continuously enhance the shopper journey and achieve international growth objectives. Partner effectively with marketing, merchandising, operations, and business management teams to maintain a cohesive international brand experience and inform site strategy. Requirements: 10+ years of experience in ecommerce or retail, with a proven track record of success. Strong presentation skills, able to tell a compelling story through data and communicate clearly and confidently at all organisational levels. Self-motivated and proactive, thriving on shaping ones own path while consistently driving growth and innovation. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a rapid test-and-learn mindset and the ability to take calculated risks. Customer-centric approach with a deep understanding and sensitivity to cultural and shopper differences. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and communicate effectively across various levels of the organisation. Experience leading fast-paced, cross-functional projects successfully. Strong knowledge of web-based consumer behaviour and key ecommerce performance indicators (KPIs). Experience collaborating with creative, merchandising, and product management teams.
