Job Overview
A rare opportunity has emerged for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of high-value MV & HV projects and drive delivery to the highest standards within a leading engineering contractor working on major projects in the power and renewables sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organising and overseeing the construction of electrical (MV & HV) projects, acting as the key client interface and ensuring compliance with safety, quality and budget targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead all phases of MV & HV projects from start-up through to completion
* Develop project business plans, cost control systems, cash flow and schedules
* Manage site teams and subcontractors to ensure programme, EHS and quality compliance
* Chair client and subcontractor meetings, managing progress and resolving issues
* Oversee audits, reporting, procurement and engineering activities
* Evaluate project performance and implement improvements
* Maintain strong client relationships from mobilisation to close-out
