Job Title:
Parcel Packer
Contract Type:
Part time, fixed-term employment until 19 December 2025 to support increased seasonal demand in the run-up to Christmas.
Hours:
Approximately 9:30am – 1pm, Monday – Friday
Pay:
€14 -€15 per hour.
Function:
To ensure timely and accurate packing of parcels and hampers for online orders, marketing samples, and other dispatch requirements, maintaining Ballymaloe Foods' high standards of quality and presentation.
The Candidate:
* Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Flexible and reliable during peak seasonal periods
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Pick and pack parcels for Shopify orders, marketing campaigns, and charity hampers
* Build hampers and prepare parcels to specification
* Print labels and ensure correct documentation for domestic and international shipments
* Maintain cleanliness and quality standards (e.g., correct shelf life, no lid popping)
* Record tracking codes and update relevant trackers
* Add compliment slips and prepare custom/commercial invoices where required
Qualifications & Experience:
* Previous experience in packing, warehouse operations, or hamper assembly desirable
* IT skills for label printing and order processing
Additional Requirements:
* Ability to lift and handle parcels safely
* Full, clean drivers licence desirable

Pay: €14.00-€15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
