Catalyx are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our team and work shift on our customer site in Cork. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will require a working knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures in our customer's pharmaceutical tableting production facility. This position is based on a 3-cycle shift pattern. As part of this commitment, we are continuously developing our on-site teams to support the advancement of customer operations.Responsibilities:Work on routine assignments following established SOPS, Master Batch Record and cGMPsPerform moderately complex tasks associated with aseptic processing, dispensing, compaction, granulation, milling and coatingReporting any issue that needs to be resolved on line performance to Operations LeadPerform more complex troubleshooting unassistedWork on more complex manufacturing processes and assignmentsClean (manually, and clean in place) and assembles equipment for productionPerform detailed SAP (computerised software) and MES transactions in resolving inventory discrepanciesClean manufacturing area, including walls, ceilings, and floorsComplete and maintain documentation related to assigned work, including log books, batch records etcAct as a point of contact for a compliance auditOperate drum coater and compression equipment or roller compactorsDispenses ingredients for batchesPerform MBR manufacturing batch report updatesPerform manual handling of product - loads and unloads tabletsDeliver on agreed KPIs and metricsOther duties as requestedRequirements:Three years relevant industrial experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environmentA technical/ engineering qualification or background is an advantageExcellent written and spoken communication skills with established interpersonal skillsProficiency in MS applicationsDemonstrates strong safety orientation with strict adherence to established safety practices and standardsDetail orientatedA can-do attitude towards customer delivery and performanceWhy Join Catalyx?At Catalyx we understand that our people are our greatest asset.
