Senior Grade Psychologist
As a Senior Grade Psychologist, you will take a leading role in delivering expert assessments and interventions to children and young people (0–18 years) and their families.
Working within a dynamic interdisciplinary framework, you will provide high-quality psychology services through a family-centred approach.
This senior position involves clinical leadership, service development, and the supervision and mentoring of staff grade psychologists, assistant psychologists, and students.
* Plan and manage a complex caseload, providing expert assessments and interventions that meet the unique needs of each child and family.
* Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to staff grade psychologists, assistant psychologists, and students, helping them develop their skills and knowledge.
* Take a lead role in service planning, innovation, and development within the psychology discipline, ensuring that our services are evidence-based and effective.
* Delegate tasks appropriately and support the development of junior staff members, promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
* Foster a culture of evidence-based practice, contributing to research and quality improvement initiatives that drive positive change in our field.
* Represent the psychology discipline at internal and external meetings and conferences, advocating for the importance of mental health services for children and young people.
* Act as a mandated person under the Children First National Guidelines, upholding the highest standards of professional and ethical practice.
