Account Executive – Commercial
We are seeking a dedicated Account Executive with a proven B2B SaaS sales track record. You will grow our commercial account base, own the full sales lifecycle, and introduce AI‑powered solutions to new and existing customers.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Drive top‑line revenue growth by acquiring new commercial customers and expanding existing accounts.
* Own the entire sales cycle, from strategic prospecting through sophisticated negotiation and closing.
* Manage and nurture customer relationships to maximize satisfaction, retention, and strategic partnership value.
* Act as a strategic advisor to C‑Suite and VP executives, articulating Zendesk’s AI‑powered platform value.
* Identify and pursue cross‑sell opportunities to optimize account revenue and profitability.
* Leverage data insights and customer adoption history to prospect new clients and enhance retention strategies.
* Lead complex, competitive sales cycles with strong communication and value selling skills.
* Develop a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities and maintain accurate forecasting to exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals.
* Establish executive sponsorship, building relationships with decision‑makers and champions.
* Collaborate with internal teams to enhance sales strategies and streamline execution.
* Consistently exceed revenue goals using weekly and monthly KPIs.
What You Bring To The Role
* BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
* At least 4 years of B2B SaaS sales or solution engineering experience with a record of exceeding targets.
* Expertise in end‑to‑end deal management, from lead generation to contracting.
* Experience selling in the UK/Irish market.
* Proven ability to navigate multi‑month, value‑centric sales cycles with proof‑of‑concept stages.
* Strong skills presenting to and influencing C‑level and VP‑level executives.
* Foundational understanding of AI and ML principles, with confidence to discuss strategic roadmaps and Generative AI applications.
* Experience managing and expanding customer relationships at multiple levels.
* Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and deal‑closing skills.
* Entrepreneurial spirit, strong collaboration skills, and drive for continuous professional growth.
* In‑depth knowledge of industry trends and key decision‑maker relationships.
* Experience creating and leveraging territory and account plans.
* Familiarity with Salesforce, Clari, Groove, and Gong.
* Ability to travel as necessary.
Hybrid Work
Our hybrid model combines onsite collaboration with flexible remote work. You will attend the local office part of the week; the specific schedule will be determined by the hiring manager.
