We Make Life More Rewarding and DignifiedLocation: BallinaDepartmentTitle:Management AccountantReporting to:Director, Finance Global ManufacturingDirect Reports:2Summary:The Management Accountant is responsible for providing financial support and analysis to our Ballina Manufacturing Site.This position reports directly to the Ballina Plant Controller and is a key member of the Ballina operations finance team.ResponsibilitiesKey Finance partner to the Ballina manufacturing siteProvides leadership and day-to-day supervision to direct reports within the finance teamConducts detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, identify trends, and analyze variancesDevelops and manages budgets/forecasts and analyzes variances against budget/forecastsImplements cost reduction measures, monitors expenses, and identifies opportunities for improvementEnsures compliance with all internal and external accounting standards and regulationsLiaises with internal and external stakeholders to drive output, efficiencies, and improvementsMaintains and updates standard costs, ensuring accurate and timely dataLeads ad hoc project work as the finance representative on specific initiativesSupports the site strategic plan and evaluates financial impacts where requiredReviews volume forecasts monthly to ensure appropriate labour requirements are in place to meet production demandProvides financial evaluations at key milestones in the new product launch processCollaborates with the site to control inventory and manage obsolescenceProvides expertise and helps lead the future site SAP S/4HANA implementation for operations financeWork Experience Requirements5 +years industry experience in standard costing in a manufacturing environment essential, ideally in a multinational organization.People management experience preferred.Education RequirementsProfessional Accounting Qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent accreditation) preferred.Bachelor's degree/diploma in finance, accounting, economics or equivalent.Specialized Skills/Technical KnowledgeAdvanced MS Excel skills.SAP experience is desirable.Power BI knowledge desirable.Communication and presentation skillsAbout Hollister IncorporatedHollister Incorporated is an independent, employee-owned company that develops, manufactures and markets healthcare products worldwide.
