The ideal candidate will have proven experience in hotel management, preferably in a large, fast-paced property. You will possess strong leadership and communication skills to inspire and guide a diverse team, as well as exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Job Description
Our Deputy General Manager will be responsible for:
* Partnering with the General Manager to provide strategic direction and ensure operational excellence;
* Leading daily briefings and coordinating with department managers for smooth operations;
* Delivering exceptional guest experiences by fostering a customer-first culture;
* Overseeing forecasting and scheduling for the Food & Beverage and Conferencing teams;
* Mentoring and training staff, driving a culture of continuous improvement;
* Collaborating with the Sales and Marketing team to boost revenue and achieve sales targets;
* Managing costs efficiently to meet or exceed budgetary goals;
* Overseeing Health & Safety compliance and cash handling processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Proven experience in hotel management, preferably in a large, fast-paced property;
* Strong background in Food & Beverage operations;
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills;
