What You’ll Do
Strategic Change Delivery: Support the Finance Transformation team in implementing large-scale, end-to-end finance process changes aligned with Primark’s strategic priorities and overall transformation roadmap.
Process Expertise & Design: Act as Finance process SME for major initiatives, coordinate detailed design and delivery of finance processes, and ensure alignment with ABF FCF General Accounting and Control Environment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with SMEs across Finance and other business areas (Procurement, Legal, Technology, external stakeholders) to deliver seamless, integrated solutions.
Governance & Communication: Manage workstream meetings, deliverables and dependencies, and develop communication, stakeholder engagement, training and adoption plans for successful change implementation.
Continuous Improvement & Automation: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, improve controls and automate processes to optimize business outcomes and user experience.
Flexibility & Leadership: Drive consistency in policy application, support various projects as needed, and build strong relationships with senior leadership to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives.

What You’ll Bring
Professional Qualifications: Accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) with strong experience in finance environments and finance systems.
Transformation & Change Expertise: Accreditation or practitioner experience in Transformation, Change Management or Project Management (e.g., APMG, PMI CAPM/PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Agile) and a proven track record of delivering finance change programmes.
Process & Automation Knowledge: Deep understanding of business process change, standardisation, optimisation and automation (including RPA tools such as Automation Anywhere, Alteryx, MS Power Automate) and experience documenting process flows.
Analytical & Technical Skills: Familiarity with Business Intelligence, data analytics and finance functional process design; ideally with operational knowledge of Primark finance processes.
Stakeholder Management & Leadership: Skilled in managing senior stakeholders, providing robust advice, driving best practice and challenging existing processes to achieve efficiency.
Adaptability & Primark Knowledge: Ability to handle ambiguity, work flexibly across transformation programmes and leverage in-depth knowledge of Primark’s ways of working and functional areas.
