Luxury Hotel Seeks Director of Sales
This elegant four-star hotel in Co. Wicklow is a preferred destination for both business and leisure guests.
The ideal candidate will lead the Sales department, driving a sales culture throughout the wider hotel team and contribute to achieving annual revenue and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver a comprehensive Sales & Marketing Plan in conjunction with the Director of Hospitality.
* SOURCE NEW BUSINESS AND NURTURE EXISTING RELATIONSHIPS, including international markets.
* Lead and motivate the Sales team, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
* Foster strong communication and organisational skills within the team.
* Conduct on-the-road sales calls with existing and potential clients, leveraging revenue, selling, and negotiation skills.
* Utilise sales data and property management systems effectively, as well as digital marketing tools to drive growth.
* Demonstrate a strategic view and solid understanding of the hospitality industry.
Requirements:
* Minimum three years' experience in a senior sales role at a four-star hotel.
* Strong exposure to and familiarity with the wedding market.
* Excellent leadership, motivational, and training skills.
* Good knowledge of Digital Marketing.
* A strategic view and good understanding of the hospitality business.
Additional Requirements:
* Own transport essential, as this role involves on-the-road sales calls three days a week.
