Our Vision team is developing the next generation of smarter, less invasive, more personalized treatments. We are looking for a Senior Injection Moulding Engineer in Limerick, Ireland to provide polymer processing and engineering expertise for a range of products and materials, and to identify and implement innovative engineering technologies that deliver highly efficient and cost‑effective processes and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Experience in project delivery in the medical device or pharmaceutical sector
Plan, develop, and facilitate the design and installation of injection moulding equipment and processes, ensuring that moulding equipment meets company specifications, schedules and budgets
Provide troubleshooting expertise to resolve injection moulding equipment, systems and process problems using strong statistical methodology
Provide key inputs and leadership into transformational process developments
Lead or actively participate in cross‑functional teams to ensure new product introduction and research and development projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner
Demonstrate strong leadership and a clear identifiable work ethos within the team
Develop and maintain a Credo & behavioral standards based culture within the group
Ensure effective closure on quality system documents (audit actions, NCRs, CAPAs, maps, etc.)
Ensure all process developments, NPI, etc. are managed in accordance with the quality management system
Work with team leaders to develop and implement strategic engineering goals & objectives
Support the implementation of all engineering and plant strategic initiatives
All employees are responsible for minimizing both the environmental and health & safety effects of the work they perform
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science or a related discipline
Proven track record in project management
Ability to manage multiple assignments or projects with sound analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
Flexible work ethic
Strong influencing skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Problem‑solving skills
Decision‑making ability on technical issues
Capable of taking direction and taking responsibility and ownership for systems
Excellent planning and organization skills
Preferred Skills
Accelerating, analytical reasoning, coaching, communication, facility management, good manufacturing practices (GMP), lean manufacturing principles, lean supply chain management, manufacturing engineering, manufacturing science and technology (MSAT), problem management, project engineering, project schedule, report writing, safety‑oriented, STEM application, technology, and math skills

Compensation
The anticipated base pay range for this position is €52,400.00 – €82,915.00.
