Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Site Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the planning and delivery of site operations within your remit.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage human resources within your team, liaising with HR and Safety functions
* Programme and schedule works to maximise resource efficiency
* Ensure preparation of relevant Construction Stage Health and Safety Plans
* Carry out regular inspections/audits on Temporary Traffic Management
* Record keeping for project aspects including quantities of materials used, plant & equipment utilised, labour on site, weather records, safety audits, toolbox talks, task briefings, SSWPs, variations to works requirements, directions issued by Local Authority/Client, Site Specific Safety File, Post Construction Surface Dressing Records
* Monitor quality of Surface Dressing works to ensure compliance with Institute of Asphalt Technology Guidelines
* Coordinate testing and sampling of emulsions and aggregates according to CE Marking and EN Surface Dressing Requirements and EN Slurry Surfacing Requirements
* Order Raw Materials from Approved Suppliers only and Identify Potential Suppliers
* Appoint Approved Contractors for Sub-contract operations
* Planning, forecasting and scheduling of works
* Financial performance of contracts, proactive cost management, invoicing / valuations
Required Skills and Qualifications
You will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong leadership and organisational abilities. A proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget is essential.
