Job Opportunity: IT Support Specialist in Cork
Location: Cork, with regular travel to our Dublin office and occasional travel to our UK offices

Your Responsibilities
* Deliver customer-centric IT services that are secure, efficient, and cost-effective.
* Assist customers with inquiries, resolving issues to maximize system usage.
* Provide high-quality support via email, phone, and in person.
* Record, update, and resolve support tickets and service requests.
* Identify problems and develop solutions.
* Configure, distribute, maintain, and dispose of IT equipment following established processes.
* Support office IT equipment and meeting room technologies.
* Resolve 1st and 2nd line application issues and manage 3rd line support when necessary.
* Deliver training and awareness sessions to groups of customers.
* Act as a point of escalation, managing issues proactively to minimize impact.
* Promote a positive message about IT in the region and handle any dissatisfaction professionally.
* Build strong relationships with IT Managed Service Providers to ensure cohesive teamwork.
* Maintain professionalism and objectivity at all times.
* Keep service documentation and processes up to date, accurately reflecting the environment.
* Contribute to knowledge sharing by creating weekly articles.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience in a customer-facing IT role.
* Support experience with business applications.
* Ability to create and deliver customer-focused presentations and communications.
* Experience working within an IT Managed Service environment.
* Good knowledge of end-user technologies (PCs, AV, mobile phones, telephone systems).
* Experience with ITIL service and support processes.
* Strong analytical and diagnostic skills for problem resolution and root cause analysis.
* Broad understanding of technology and technical concepts.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft products.
Qualifications
* ITIL Foundation certification (desirable).
* Technical certifications such as CompTIA or equivalent (desirable).
