Supporting Independence in Intellectual Disabilities
We are seeking enthusiastic professionals to support adults in intellectual disabilities in a community-based setting, assisting with independent living skills and integration into the community. Our ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of HIQA regulations and experience adhering to National Standard policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* FETAC level 5 in Healthcare or similar
* One year's experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities
Our ideal candidate will be able to follow plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of the individuals supported, as well as possess effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills. Additionally, they will have proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
Requirements:
* An understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services
* A full driver's license and availability of own car is an essential requirement
