Recruitment Consultant at Pro Source Group
Pro Source Group is seeking an Electrical Project Design Engineer on behalf of one of Ireland's leading multidisciplinary consultancies.
This is a Dublin-based position.
This role offers exposure to a wide range of projects across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education & residential sectors.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated and enthusiastic team player with experience in electrical building services design.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out detailed design calculations for lighting and emergency lighting, security and access control, data and general services, mechanical power and control systems.
Prepare schematic and layout drawings using Auto CAD (2 D) and/or Revit (3 D).
Create schedules, data sheets, and technical specifications.
Assist in cost estimation and preparation of technical reports.
Conduct site surveys and support project delivery from initial concept through to handover.
Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
Assist with the preparation of contract documentation and new business proposals as needed.
Requirements
Degree qualification (Level 7 or 8) in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Demonstrated experience in electrical building services design (Ideally 3+ years with an Irish consultancy).
Proficient in Auto CAD, Revit, and relevant design software.
Ability to take direction from senior staff and work collaboratively.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
