Your RoleAs a Residential Healthcare Assistant (HCA), you will be at the heart of our care philosophy.
You'll not only assist residents with daily living activities but also ensure their emotional and social needs are met through engaging interactions and creative activities.
What You'll DoBuild meaningful relationships with residents, promoting trust and understanding.Assist with personal care, mobility, and medication support as needed.Lead or support activities that encourage resident engagement, such as social events, hobbies, or exercise sessions.Monitor and report on resident wellbeing, communicating effectively with the care team.Create a warm, homelike atmosphere by going above and beyond to ensure residents feel valued and happy.
About YouYou are an enthusiastic and empathetic person who loves connecting with others.
You will also need:To be working towards your QQI Level 5 major award in Healthcare Support (and have completed Care Skills and Care of the Older Person Modules).
Be available to work days/ nights/ weekendsSome previous experience as a HCA or working with people living with dementia preferable.Strong communication and teamwork skills.A proactive approach, always putting residents' wellbeing and engagement first.Ready to bring joy and care into the lives of our residents?
