Operational Theatre Nursing Team Leader

The Operational Theatre Nursing Team Leader is a pivotal member of the healthcare team and oversees the clinical management of the theatre nursing ward. The theatre complex comprises five theatres, including three general theatres and a minor operations room, as well as a recovery room.

* Support the theatre management team in providing high-quality patient care to ensure adherence to professional standards using evidence-based care planning approaches.
* Provide expert leadership and mentorship to theatre staff to enhance their skills and confidence.
* Collaborate with the theatre management team to coordinate, assess, plan, deliver, and review patient care services across all staff members within the designated area.
* Be registered or eligible for registration on the General Division of the live Register of Nurses maintained by the relevant authority.
* A minimum of five years' experience working as a staff nurse in an operating theatre environment.
* Desirable: at least one year's experience in a management role within an operating theatre setting.
