Employs approximately 190 staff in Ireland including a team of over 20 chemists and analysts in the R&D team who focus on the development of active pharmaceutical ingredientsThe Role:Part of the strategy to deliver an outstanding IT services, looking for an IT Support Engineer, based in Dublin, to provide fast and useful technical assistance to end users. Fully integrated in our IT support organization, this person will be in charge mainly of the IT day-to-day operations to deliver high quality IT services and ensures constant improvement of support, performance and end-user satisfaction.Our client is looking for a competent and experienced "customer oriented" person, with good and broad technical knowledge and excellence communication skills.Key Responsibilities:At least 2/3 years of experience in an IT SupportTechnical experience in IT Systems management and desktop support,A Bachelor's in a relevant field preferable or equivalent experience,Experience with the following systems: OSX, Windows - system & applications, mobile,Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support roleGood understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech productsAbility to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.Proficiency in EnglishGood communication skills with strong customer focusCustomer-oriented and cool-temperedBSc/BA in IT, Computer Science, or relevant fieldExposure to ITIL v3, specifically in incident/request, problem & changeData integrity guidelines.Experience in supporting infrastructures and applications; or equivalent position.Experience of server and/or workstation platforms, but physical and virtual.Excellent communication skills (written and oral).Strong technical aptitude (i.e. able to read and comprehend technical documentation and execute procedures)Key Technical Competencies:Excellence knowledge of the IT workplace environment:Operating systems - Windows, Mac OSMobile devices (IOS, Android)Microsoft Office O365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, Project…)Proficient on:Video conferencing systems (Teams, Cisco Meeting Room tech)Printer SupportNetwork - Desktop PatchingActive Directory / ExchangeExperience with Microsoft Windows and Office suite, Active Directory (AD), MDM, AV.Good understanding of Network, Security, Telecom Technologies.Experience working with Apple MAC.If you are interested in this role or would like to discuss it further, please call Nidhi at or email
