The Garden is a creative floral design studio and flower and plant shop. It was founded in 2010 by landscape gardener Mark Grehan and currently operates two shops, one located in The Powerscourt Center in D02 and another in the historic heart of D08.
The Garden's studio is where we imagine and design memorable floral displays for weddings, private and commercial events, fashion shows, shoots and launches, retail, stage and film sets.
We are currently seeking a new driver to join our passionate, supportive, and hard-working team.
Position Overview:
The Delivery Driver is responsible for carefully and safely packing and transporting all floral products produced at The Garden to our customers or to events.
Responsibilities:
· Pack and load floral arrangements onto delivery vans using a cart.
· Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete and properly documented.
· Deliver floral arrangements as needed, placing them in designated locations and removing any old arrangements.
· Completing tasks around the shops while awaiting arrangements from florists.
Requirements:
· Must have a clean driving record
· Must have a valid Driver's License and be in possession of it at all times
· Must feel comfortable driving in the city and on highways
· Ability to frequently lift heavy objects.
· Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changes in daily schedule
· Ability to prioritize deliveries and follow instructions
· Excellent personal skills when interacting with public and co-workers
Shifts:
· Available to work Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday
· 8 hours shifts
· Based in D08
Pay:
· Depending on experience
