This is an exciting time to join the team as we look forward to moving into our new premises in the coming months. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business helping customers to navigate the energy market to secure the best energy solutions for their needs. The ideal candidate will have previously worked in the Irish energy sector or similar B2B background.Key Responsibilities:Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and target potential customers through various channels (cold calling, networking, referrals, email marketing, etc.). Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.Customer Consultation: Consult with businesses and organizations to understand their energy needs and provide tailored solutions with tracker products for both gas and electricity products.Market Research: Stay informed about the latest energy market trends, tariffs, and industry regulations to offer informed solutions to customers.Sales Reporting: Track sales activities, opportunities, and conversions in CRM software, providing regular updates and reports to senior management.Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery to customersKey Requirements:Experience: Proven sales experience, ideally in the energy industry. Track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs. Minimum 12 months B2B experience.Knowledge: A good understanding of the energy market, energy contracts, and industry regulations in Ireland. Knowledge of renewable energy solutions is a plus.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain complex energy concepts to customers in simple, easy-to-understand terms.Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to close deals effectively.Self-Motivated: A proactive and goal-oriented individual who thrives in a target-driven environment.Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software and other sales tools.
