We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our team in the Briarhill area.
This is a part-time position offering flexible working hours, ideal for someone seeking work–life balance while maintaining a professional accounting role.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate financial records using Sage 50
* Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with Irish tax regulations
* Process payroll using Thesaurus Payroll, ensuring full compliance with employment legislation
* Support directors with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
* Reconcile bank accounts, manage cash flow, and oversee accounts payable/receivable
* Liaise with auditors and tax advisors during year-end and compliance reviews
Requirements
* Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)
* Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounting role
* Proficient in Sage 50 and Thesaurus Payroll
* Strong understanding of VAT and payroll compliance
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
* Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools
