Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager to lead our retail store team. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the site, ensuring that it operates efficiently and effectively, providing excellent customer service and fresh food offerings.

Main Responsibilities:

* Ensure the site operates efficiently and effectively, providing excellent customer service and fresh food offerings.

* Deliver on key store targets through effective management of people and operations.
">
* Take final responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring it meets company standards of merchandising, presentation, and customer care.
">
* Achieve sales, margins, and waste targets while implementing HACCP and maintaining high hygiene standards throughout the store.
">
* Manage employee rostering, annual leave, and maintain accurate records, set and monitor sales targets with the team, control stocktaking, and overheads within budget.
">

Team Management:
">
You will be a role model who leads by example, encourages teamwork, fosters a positive attitude, and atmosphere in the workplace. Develop the team to meet required standards by training, coaching, undertaking performance reviews, and assessing employee training requirements.
">
Stock Management:
">
You will have full responsibility for site stock range and processes, implement planograms correctly, ensure the correct range is in place in-store, merchandise the shop area for maximum performance, and perform weekly/monthly stock takes.
">
Back Office Management:
">
You will manage daily cash reconciliation and cash control, daily bank lodgements, manage cash discrepancies, and report to the Management Accountant, perform prime data entry, delivery dockets, invoices, cash reconciliations, bank account reconciliations, and wet stock data.

Operational:
">
Deal with breakdowns/system failures, report to relevant departments, organize contractor call-outs, deal with security issues/breaches, and escalate as necessary.
">
Customer Service:
">
Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer satisfaction, consistently displaying service excellence behaviors, taking final responsibility for timely follow-through on promises/queries made to customers, and resolving customer complaints at local level, escalating as necessary.
">
Health, Safety, and Welfare Management:
">
Lead by example, strictly complying with safety standards and safe working practices, take final responsibility for health, safety, and welfare of staff, customers, contractors, and visitors, and maintain safe working practices in all non-customer areas.
">
Requirements:
">
To be successful in this role, you will require a minimum of 3 years' experience in a retail management position, a passion for retail, strong work ethic, ownership, and accountability. You must also have proven people management and leadership capability, previous experience reading and actioning reports, full clean driver's license, and own transport.
