The Opportunity A fantastic opportunity for a Finance Control Accountant to join a high-performing finance team. This role offers broad exposure and the chance to drive financial control, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead financial control processes and ensure timely, accurate month-end close
Maintain and enhance internal controls, policies, and reporting frameworks
Act as key contact for internal and external audits
Drive process improvements and support finance transformation projects
Support treasury activities including cash flow and liquidity oversight
Deliver accurate financial reporting, KPIs, and management information
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
About You
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 3+ years PQE in financial services
Strong financial control and audit experienceExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and adaptable
Proactive with a solutions‑focused mindset
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of FRS 102 / IFRS
Experience with financial control frameworks
Advanced Excel
