Job Opportunity: Childcare Assistant
A key position exists for a childcare assistant to work with children, supporting their learning and development. This role involves planning engaging activities, assisting teachers in educational programs, and maintaining accurate records of child progress.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement daily and weekly activities tailored to the needs of children aged [insert age range], including art projects and other creative pursuits.
* Contribute to delivering high-quality educational programs by supporting teachers in lesson planning and delivery.
* Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of child progress through observations and assessments.
* Participate in the development and implementation of a quality-based preschool curriculum.
Requirements:
* FETAC Level 5 qualification in Childcare or equivalent experience.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Garda vetting required.
