Overview
GOAL is seeking a motivated fundraising professional to lead our Individual Giving (IG) strategy. This pivotal role within GOAL’s fundraising department will drive the development, implementation, and growth of our individual and recurring giving programmes. Reporting to the Director of Fundraising and Communications, the Individual Giving Manager will design and execute a comprehensive donor acquisition and retention strategy that underpins GOAL’s fundraising growth over the next five years. This role will be based at GOAL’s HQ in Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin, with a hybrid working model requiring attendance in the office a minimum of 2 days per week.

Key Areas of Responsibility
Leadership
* Develop and grow GOAL’s individual and recurring giving strategy, focusing on donor acquisition, retention, lifetime value, and return on investment.
* Develop GOAL’s AI-enhanced CRM system to optimise donor journeys and data-driven decision-making.
* Identify and test optimal channels and pathways to maximise supporter engagement.
* Deliver the highest return on investment for individual giving.
* Ensure IG donor care journey is comprehensive and appropriate.
Operational
* Manage, motivate and lead the Individual Giving Officer.
* Create annual plans and monitor performance against fundraising targets and donor KPIs.
* Manage third-party vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of campaigns.
* Coordinate with Programme Operations and Communications teams to leverage compelling programme content.
* Conduct post-campaign reviews to evaluate performance, capture learnings, and inform future strategies.
Data & CRM Management
* Maintain a robust and reliable CRM system to support data-driven decision-making and optimise donor journeys.
* Collaborate with fundraising and finance teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy across all systems.
* Align with other fundraising team members to optimise the calendar of donor engagement activities.
* Provide strategic and operational support to the Director of Fundraising and Communications and collaborate with the wider fundraising team as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
* Proven experience in a similar fundraising role within the Irish charity/NGO sector (ideally with a focus on individual giving).
* Proven track record of meeting and exceeding ambitious fundraising targets.
* Expertise in direct marketing, donor engagement, and digital fundraising.
* Strong leadership and team management skills with a collaborative and empowering approach.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
* Strategic thinker with operational expertise and a passion for humanitarian work.
GOAL offers flexible working with a hybrid model; HQ employees are expected to work 2 days per week from the office in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin.
